RELIGION
Because He Lives

No greater Power hath the world
known except the power of the God
almighty.
There is a spiritual warfare that is
going on right now. (F.ph. 6:13) Our
battle is not with flesh and blood-but
with spiritual powers and principalities.
For it’s through the power of God that
every man must believe.
The God that we serve is the same
here in the United States as He is in other
countries throughout the world. God is
real. Yes! O ’yes He is! We, as Christians,
have to stand together and shout out our
Christian beliefs. Don’t just sit there and
be satisfied with not knowing or being
satisfied with our own piousness.
Jesus was crucified, He died. He
was buried and He rose. According to the
actions of many Christians, it seems that
Christ never rose. Are you guilty o f leav
ing Christ in the grave? Let Him rise in
you life, today. Everyone who has ac
cepted C hrist as th eir personal
Savior...close your eyes and your mind
to the worldly things and confess your
sins to the Lord. Sinners, repent-for the
kingdom of God is at hand. The Christ
that we serve is alive and well.
Scientists have tried to figure out
G od’s plan mathematically, through the
study of the stars and by even going to
the Holy Land and digging up artifacts.
The Holy scripture says that all that we
have to do is believe. All though God
created all that we see. He lives in hearts
of men and women, boys an girls who
have accepted Him.
If any man be in Christ he is a new
creature. Old things are passed away and
behold all things hall become brand new.
Many who would like to become like
Christ but feel that they are filthy, un
worthy and inadequate can’t change all
by themselves. You must accept the risen
Christ. Confess your sins and believe.
Don’t you know that if we had every
thing together, God would not have had
to send His only begotten son, Christ, to
dwell among us and then die on that
cruel cross. We needed saving and God,
in His infinite wisdom, recognized it.
Christ came to save all those who
are lost. He didn’t come pointing an
accusing finger. He didn’t run around
talking about those whose lives weren’t
put together in the right way, either. God
had compassion on man. He saw that he
was weak and was susceptible to the
forces of evil; so, He sent His son-Jesus
Christ to live among us. He witnessed
and experienced the pull and the force
that evil has on man, in the flesh. He took
it upon Himself to be scourged, beaten,
have a crown of thorns placed on his
head, spat upon and then nailed to a cross

just for you and me. We, who are not
even worthy to step on the same ground
that He has walked on...[John 6:37-40].
He died in our place. When He was
nailed to the cross, the power of sin was
nailed there too. When He rose from the
grave, He had all power in His hands. He
also held the keys to the gates of hell.
We have all sinned and fallen short
of God’s glory. So, no one person can
claim to be so clean and so worthy that he
or she is better than everyone.
In this state alone, crime is running
ramped because Oregon holds the record
for having the most unchurched people
in the nation. Those persons who claim
to be children of the most high God
should make it a practice to reach out to
the unsaved and the unchurched. Our
duty, as Christians, is to “ ...go tell. Go
spread the news.” We should be busy
making disciples wherever we go. Don’t
be afraid to witness. Don’t be afraid to
tell others about what God has done in
your life.
Does Jesus reign in your life? If He
does not, make it a point to accept Him-
right now.
Because He lives I can face tomor
row. Because He lives all my fears are
gone. Because He lives-I know who holds
my future. My life is worth living just be
cause He lives. What about you?
