PRINTING & DISTRIBUTION SERVICES

Bids are solicited to furnish printing and distribution services for this
agency’s Course Goals project. Bids will be received by Michael Mlyn­
arczyk, Purchasing Agent, at 11611 NE Ainsworth Circle (PO Box 301039),
Portland, Oregon 97220-9097 (Phone: 503-257-1791) until no later than
3:00 p.m., PDT, May 3, 1990, at which time and address the bids will be
publicly opened but will not be read aloud.
The successful bidder will not be required to be licensed for asbestos
abatement under section 7 of ORS 468.883.
Specifications may be obtained at the above office. Each bid must con­
tain a statement as to whether or not the bidder is a resident bidder as defined
in ORS 279.029. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all
prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may rejet for
good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public inter­
est to do so. No bid will be considered that is received after the appointed date
and time.
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Columbia Arts
Center will receive bids until 3:00 p.m. May 3, 1990, at the office of the
Architect located at 500 West 8th Street, Suite 115, Vancouver, Washington,
for lump sum bids for Entry and Elevator Additions to the Columbia Arts
Center. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the
closing time for their receipt, at which time and place all interested persons are
entitled to attend the bid opening.
BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED AS FOLLOWS:

Contract Documents will be issued, by the Architect, to PRIME BID­
DERS, upon deposit of $50.00 per set. Deposit sum will be refunded to the
successful bidder after award of Contract. Prime bidders may obtain addi­
tional sets of Contract Documents, or portions thereof, only upon payment of
the cost of reproduction; such payment is non-refundable.
No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by Certified Check,
Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond (with authorized surety company as surety)
made payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than 5% of the maximum
amount of the bid and no interest will be allowed on bid security.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities.
No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof
or before award of the contract, unless said award is delayed for a period
exceeding 30 days.
This project is financed through the Community Development Block Grant
Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development
The contract will be subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor and
Housing and Urban Development.
Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportu­
nity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages as set forth in the
contract documents.

Environmental Assessment for F ilter Road Terminal
Notice is hereby given by the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation
District o f Oregon (Tri-Met) that a public meeting regarding the Environ­
mental Assessment for a Foster Road Terminal Site will be held at 7:30 p.m.
April 30,1990 at Alice OTT Middle School, 12500 SE Ramona.
The Assessment addresses the impacts of construction of a bus terminal
at the NW comer of SE 136th and Foster Road. A copy of the document is
available from the Transit Development Department, Tri-Met, 4012 SE 17th,
Portland, OR 97202. Public comment on the document is invited at this
meeting. Additional comments must be received by Tri-Met no later than
May 7,1990.
