The Unified Sewerage Agency o f Washington County is soliciting bids
for Low er Council Creek Trunk. Sealed bids must be delivered to the
office o f the Unified Sewerage Agency, 155 N . First Avenue, Suite 270,
Hillsboro, Oregon, 97124, to the attention o f Terry Chamberlin, Project
Manager, no later than 2:00p .m ., A p ril 2 ,1 9 9 0 , at which time they w ill
be publicly opened and read at the same location.
The works consist o f the construction o f approximately 1,212 linear feet
o f 48-inch sanitary sewer, 26,439 linear feet o f 42-inch sanitary sewer,
3,299 linear feet o f 8-inch sanitary sewer, 6 bores, 94 manholes, a
siphon with access roads, and miscellaneous appurtenances.
The Bid Book may be examined and obtained for no cost at the office
o f the Unified Sewerage Agency, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro,
Oregon. The General Conditions and Standard Specifications for the
project may be examined and obtained for a $25.00 nonrefundable fee
at the office listed above.
Bids must be made upon the bid forms found in the B id Book, and must
be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond payable
to the U nified Sewerage Agency o f Washington County in an amount
not less than five percent (5 % ) o f the total amount bid.
N o bid w ill be received or considered by the U nified Sewerage Agency
unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that the provisions o f
ORS 279.350, regarding prevailing wage rates, are to be complied with.
