Contract documents will be issued, by the Architect, to PRIME BID­
DERS, upon deposit of $50.00 per set. Deposit will be refunded if sets
are returned, in good condition, within seven (7) days o f bidding.
Deposit sum will be refunded to the successful bidder after award of
contract, prime bidders may obtain additional sets of Contract Docu­
ments, or portions thereof, only upon payment of the cost of reproduc­
tion; such payment is non-refundable.
Subcontractors and material suppliers may obtain Contract Documents
or portions thereof, only upon payment of cost of reproduction; such
payment is non-refundable.
No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by certified check,
Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond (with authorized surety company as
surety) made payable to the owner in an amount not less then 5% of the
maximum amount of the bid and no interest will be allowed on bid se­
curity.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive for­
malities.
No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening
thereof or before award of the contract, unless said award is delayed for
a period exceeding 30 days.
This project is financed through Community Development Block Grant
Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development.The contract will be subject to regulations of the
Department of Labor and Housing and Urban Development.
Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Oppor­
tunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages as set
forth in the contract documents.

NOTICE OF INTENT
The Oregon Department of Transportation,
Highway Division, is seeking proposals from consulting firms to
conduct public involvement services for the Mt. Hood Parkway Project.
This project consists of the construction of a new route connecting the
Columbia River Highway with the Mt. Hood Highway. The Division
will engate a consulting firm to facilitate Citizen Advisory Committee
and public meetings, assisting the Department of Transportation with
Technical Advisory Committee meetings, preparation and distribution
of newsletters and news releases, and being available as a contact for the
public.
The Department will select one consultant to enter into a lump sum
contract not to exceed $32,000.
