upon deposit ot $20, which is refundable o nly i f documents are returned
in good condition by March 1,1990. Additional sets o f documents may

The Portland Development Commission (PDC) on behalf o f the b uild ­
ing owner, Central C ity Concern (CCC), seeks statements o f q ualifica­
tions from general contractors for the renovation o f the Henry Building.
The building is part o f the C ity o f Portland Single Room Occupancy
(SRO) comm itment and is located on the northeast quarter o f Block 65,
and area bounded by SW Stark Street and Oak Street. The building w ill
be approximately 150 units o f SRO housing on six floors. A p p ro xi­
mately 10,000 square feet o f retail space w ill be included on the ground
flo o r o f the building. Statements o f qualification from general contrac­
tors w ill be evaluated and the two to five most qualified w ill be invited
to submit proposals. The construction w ork w ill be performed on a
cost-plus-fixed-fee basis w ith in a Guaranteed M axim um Price (GMP).

copies may be obtained from the above address for a $50.00 non-re-

pation in construction projects are 10% and 2.5% respectively.
