The Ebony Rose Ski Club is planning a ski outing for Elementary, Middle School, and High School Students on Sunday, Jan. 14. This first trip primarily serves as an introduction for children, and teenagers to skiing. Adults are also welcome to partici­ pate. Special ski packages are made avail­ able to our club thru Mr. Hood Meadow» for this first trip. The packages range from beginners to intermediate to advanced skiers. Two other trips (Feb. 18th and Mar. 18th) arc currently in the planning stages. However our goal is to make the Jan. 14th trip a very special event. If you are inter­ ested then plan on attending a special sign­ up session on Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Portland Tennis Center, (2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Ebony Rose has reserved two tennis courts during this time for those attendance to use. As a safety precaution lessons are re­ quired for all beginners. For the intermedi­ ate and adv anced skier lessons are optionaL Parental supervision is required for ch il­ dren between the ages o f 5-7. Chaperones are provided for older children by Mt. Hood Meadows and Ebony Rose. In either case no child will be free to roam the ski area without some sort o f adult supervision. Parents accompanying their children are not required to ski but should be available to assist Ski Instructors and Chaperones with the supervision o f their children.
