Bid w ill be awarded to the bidder determined by the C ity in its discretion to be the lowest responsive responsible bidder. Any Contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bid is expected to be funded in part by grants and/or loans from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Neither the United States, nor the State o f Washington, nor any o f their departments, for Bid or any resulting Contract. Before a Contract w ill be awarded, compliance with all E P A require­ ments specified in the Contract Documents w ill be subject to EPA review and approval. The Contractor is subject to compliance with and review by D O E and EPA during the course o f construction. The successful bidder prior to the entry into the Contract shall provide written proof that it possesses all necessary licenses and permits as may be required by state law or city ordinance.
