GAME KICKOFF
You’ve been hearing about it for
weeks, the Oregon Lottery’s excit­
ing new SPOTS ACTION game!
Kickoff time has finally arrived-
6:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 6!
Sports enthusiasts and fans are ready
to play, and you’ll want to get in on
the SPORTS ACTION grand kickoff
celebration.
The Oregon Lottery’s SPORTS
ACTION game official kickoff cele­
bration. Dignitaries will includestate
and public officials from the Oregon
Lottery Commission, Oregon State
System of Higher Education, Ore­
gon State Legislature, and state uni­
versity officials, athletic directors and
their coaches. Planned activities will
include a variety of speakers, a “ first
ticket” ceremony presented to State
representative Dave Dix (sponsor of
House bill 3262), a SPORTS AC­
TION “ k ic k o ff’ by state school
athletic directors, SPORTS ACTION
cheers (by school cheerleaders and
mascots), and hot dogs and soft drinks
for the first 300 people who attend
