Installation of asphalt paths, construction of wood decks and bridges, and planting
of trees, upland shrubs, and wetland planting.
Plans and specifications are filed with the Purchasing Director and copies may be
obtained from the above address for a $5.00 non-refundable fee. CHECKS AND
MONEY ORDERS ONLY, plans and documents will not be mailed within the
Tii-County Area.

PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Pursuant to the Multnomah County
Public Contract Review Board Administrative Rule (AR 40.030) Prequalification
shall be mandatory for this project for the following class(es) of work:

Prequalification applications or statements must be prepared during the period ot
one year prior to the bid date. Prequalification and proof of prequalification by the
Oregon Department of Transportation must be actually received or postmarked to
Mulnomah County Purchasing Section by no later than 10 days prior to bid

279.350.

Contractors and subcontractors must be licensed for asbestos abatement work it
project involves working with asbestos.

NONDISCRIMINATION: Bidders on this work will be required to comply w it h
the provisions of Federal Executive Order 11246. The requirements for Bidders
and Contractors are explained in the Specifications.
No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a check payable to

bond for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the aggregate proposal. The
successful bidder shall furnish a bond satisfactory to the Board in the full
amount of the contract

PURCHASING SECTION
ENGINEERING -TECHNICIAN - REPROGRAPHICS
The Port of Portland has a challenging opportunity available for an Engineering
Technician to provide administrative and technical skills , to coordinate reprographics
and aerial photo procurement in its Engineering Department.
Your responsibility will involve developing requirements, provide input and
monitor the preparation of engineering drawings requiring reprographics or
photogrammetric engineering, coordinate reprographic and photogrammetnc
engineering requests, monitor the performance and administer the contracts for
outside reprographics and photogrammetric services, supervises the in-house
reprographic and document management services operations, prepares engineering
drawings, and presentation graphics, provides assistance to the Supervisor,
Technical Support as necessary to meet the over all reprographic and photogrammetric
engineering requirements of the Port including acting for supervisor during
absences.
Preferred qualifications include:

o Successful demonstrated ability to work well under limited or minimal I
supervision

o Course work or related experience in reprographic and/or photogrammetnc
methods, techniques and equipment.
o Course work or experience equivalent to a two-year associate degree in
engineering or drafting.

o Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of reporgraphic and photogrammetric
terminology, methods, techniques and equipment
o Demonstrated experience working under pressure of changing work scopes,
schedules, deadlines and priorities.
| o Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical computations related to algebra,
geometry and trigonometry.
o Demonstrated ability to perform drafting in pencil and ink on vellum and
polyester film including the use of mechanical lettering devices,
o Demonstrated knowledge of standard drafting, surveying and design terminology
and techniques.

o Proficient PC and related software skills,
o Demonstrated experience of at least 4 years drafting in a multi-disciplined
production environment and 2 years in reprographic coordinauon and procurement.
