N ero said the o ffice , located at the K ing N eighbo rh ood F acility, w ill serve young people in need of an o p p o rtu n ity to co n tin u e th e ir education, learn a trade and becom e re sp o n sib le , in d e p e n ­ dent a dults. The N ortheast lo ca tio n was selected based on the need of that area’s young people to have easily acce ssib le jo b tra in in g and jo b placem ent program s w ith an em phasis on educational pursuits. Job C orps also teaches s k ills to the individua l w h o m ay not ever have had a job.
