There’s something that lifts Your heart in song. ‘Friendship Unlimited’ Needs Support T his year the Friendship Unlim­ ited outreach m in istry are e xtend­ ing the program to w om en w ith children. “ There is a great need fo r the w om en (w ith th e ir c h il­ dren) in th e co rre ctio n a l in s titu ­ tional system s to have a fam ily oriented program that w ill m in is ­ ter to th e ir needs after they have been released,” says Mrs. Jessie Salgado. Also, there are m any p ro stitu te s w ho no longer w ant to be in v o lv e d in th e "s tre e t w a lk in g ” business; w ho have not 1 ch ild — but — several. The program assists the w o ­ men in g e ttin g th e ir children back. U sually the w om en have their children; but, there are som e w hose children are in fo ste r hom es.
