A re yo u interested in pursuing w o rk in the
Hazardous Waste Rem oval Field?
Each year more than S850 million w orth of minority subcontract­
ing goal reguirements established by the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency for its "Superfund" Program go unfilled because of an insuffi­
cient number of trained minority contractors in the field. The National
Association of Minority Contractors has been funded by the Environ­
mental Protection Agency to conduct a series of training workshops
minority contractors in the hazardous waste removal area (under the
Superfund program).

Three phases of training are being offered at each site. They wi
be for a duration of one week per course. Training w ill cover: 1) orien­
tation into Superfund; 2) in-depth safety including on-site use of protec­
tive gear; and 3) training in Federal contract reguirements.
