BUILDING
MAINTENANCE
MECHANIC
The Port of Portland has an open­
ing for a person to provide building
maintenance support at the Port­
land International Airport.
This person will be responsible for
maintaining the keyed security sys­
tem at PDX and other Port of Port­
land operated airports, rekeying
Ipck cylinders, establishing com­
plete systems for new tenants and
maintenance of mechanical door
closers. Additional duties include
performing tasks of the Building
Maintenance Mechanic.
Perferred
qualifications
include
journeyman level experience as
locksmith, journeyman level exper­
ience on installation, repair and ed-
justment of commercial styles of
mechanical door closers, journey­
man level experience on facility
operation and maintenance. Also
preferred is the demonstrated ability
to perform the tasks of building
maintenance mechanic which in­
clude:
• maintain and repair plumbing
systems
• maintain mechanical systems
• maintain building facilities
• maintain converyer systems
The starting salary is $15.18 per
hour plus an excellent benefit pack­
age.
