A m ericans; bu t it w as his stro ng leader­
ship abilities th a t gave people th e fa ith
and courage to w o rk n o n -v io le n tly and
to strive fo r understanding and peace.
His leadership led to new law s th a t
w o u ld help to reaffirm the A m erican
ideals o f fre e d o m , ju stice and o p p o r­
tu n ity fo r all.
A m ericans w ill rem em ber, alw ays,
th e w o rk o f M artin Luther King J r.,
born Ja n u a ry 15, 1929. Each year on
the th ird M o nday in January w e w ill
celebrate his life and co n tin u e to honor
"The Dream
