It was 1984 when Roger last wowed the world with his smash album,
"The Saga Continues," featuring the hit single, "In The M ix." Since then,
this multi talented singer, tunesmith, producer and performer has been barn-
storming the country with a live show that's earned rave reviews and SRO
concert crowds. Roger's mix of solid songwriting, a larger-than-life stage
show and some of the funkiest grooves this side of dance nirvana has made
him a show-stopping sensation from coast to coast. But then what would
you expect from an artist with the talent and experience of Roger?
Roger's musical credits span twenty years of recording and performing
and include stints with such stellar names as Sly Stone, Parliament-Funka-
delic and the on-going mega group, Zapp. Born and raised in Har™ on-
Ohio. Roger built a local following into a national phenomenon through both
his recording and performing activities. With influences that range from
George Clinton to Hank Williams to Barry White to B.B. King, Roger is also
adept at any instrument he puts his hands to - everything from keyboards
to guitar to every variety of woodwind and horn in the musical dictionary.
Far too creative to simply write, play and perform, Roger is also a world class
producer, with credits that include his own gold solo album, ' The Many
Racets Of Roger" and the gold award-winning album by Shirley Murdock.
For an entertainer so much in demand, it's little wonder it s taken Roger
nearly three years to record his fourth LP. Touring demands were such that
it wasn't until late last year that he was finally able to get into the studio to
begin work on a long-awaited new album. Working with his brothers. Larry,
Lester and Terry Troutman, Roger concocted ten sizzling original cuts as
well as cutting a blistering version of the James Brown classic, Papas
Got A Brand New Bag" and put it all together on the aptly titled

kets are designed to draw together a national sampling of visual art, dome
stically made crafts, and imported or derived goods from Africa and the Car
