PROPOSAL REQUEST
The City of Portland will be requesting proposals
from qualified agencies, organizations and indivi
duals to provide professional services in the following
areas: 1) Evaluation of equal employment oppor
tunity programs, 2) Coordinating the development of
public forums on human and civil rights issues, parti
cularly discrimination against persons with AIDS,
3) Developing summary research reports based on
public forums to serve as tools for advocating the
development of public policy, and 4) Developing and
organizing and annual awards luncheon, including
site selection, keynote speaker, awards ceremonies,
entertainment, meals, and publicity.
Prospective bidders are invited to attend a Bidders
Conference where additional details of projects to be
awarded will be presented and bidders' portfolios
received. The Bidders Conference will be held Octo
ber 7, 1987 (3:00 to 5:00 p.m.) in the Hearing Room
of the Portland Building, 2nd Floor, 1120 S.W. Fifth
Avenue, Portland, Oregon. For more information,
