THE STATE OF KANSAS
TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED
that a petition has been filed in the above-named
Court by John Doe and Jane Doe praying for an
order and decree of said Court that the petitioners
be permitted and authorized to adopt Baby Girl Buzis
as their own child; that an order and decree of adop­
tion of said child by the petitioners be made and
entered by said Court; and that they have all other
proper relief, and you are hereby required to file your
written defenses thereto on or before the
16th day of October, 1987, at 9:45 o'clock a.m.
of said day, in said Court in the District Court of
Shawnee County, in the city of Topeka, Kansas, at
which time and place said cause will be heard.
Should you fail therein, judgement and decree will be
entered in due course upon said petition.

Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Mana­
ger of the Port of Portland, 700 N.E. Multnomah
Street, Portland, Oregon (mailing address: P.0. Box
3529, Portland, OR 97208) for items detailed he,ein
until the individually specified dates and times indi­
cated, and thereafter publicly opened and read.
Plans and specifications may be examined and/or
obtained at the above address. Contact the Purcha­
sing Department at 231 5000, Ext. 588.
Bids must be on the bid form provided to prospec­
tive bidders and, when Bid Surety is required, must
be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check
drawn on a United States bank, or a bid bond pay­
able to the Port of Portland in an amount equal to at
least 10 percent of the total amount bid.
When prequalification is required, the prequalifica­
tion statements should be received at least 5 days
prior to the time set for bid opening. Applications
for prequalification may be submitted less than 5
days before bid opening, but consideration by the
Port cannot be assured.
Attention is called to the provisions of the Oregon
Revised Statutes 279.350, providing that workers be
paid prevailing wage rates.

Construction of approximately 2,150 lineal feet of
asphalt concrete road and installation of approxi­
mately 160 lineal feet of culvert. A prebid confer­
ence will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 1987,
at 1:30 p.m. at the Port of Portland, Aviation Con­
struction Office, 7267 N.E. Airport Way, Portland,
Oregon, to discuss all phases of the work.
