This position will be full-time in
research, for a period of 12
months. Research will concern
influences of logging on elk,
seasonally occupying national
parks of Oregon and Washing
ton.
Experience with forage
quality analysis and vegetation
sampling is required. Knowledge
of computers, statistics, experi
mental design and modeling also
important. Field work may be
conducted under adverse wea
ther conditions typical of these
areas during winter. Ph.D. re
quired in wildlife or range eco
logy or related field. Available
October 1, 1987. Closing date
