Sealed Proposals will be received at the Bureau of Purchases
and Stores, Room 1313, Portland Building, 1120 SW Fifth Ave.,
Portland, OR 97204 for the Project detailed below until 2:00 P.M
on the dates indicated.
Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the above address?

Unless otherwise stated in the individual proposal listed herein, no
proposal or bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid
surety for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggre­
gate amount of the proposal.
The City encourages bidding by MBE's and FBE's and will assist
such firms to understand and participate in formal bidding
processes.

er as prescribed by Chapter 3.100 of the Code of the City of

REROOFING
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Hillsboro,
Oregon, City Hall, 205 SE Second Avenue, Hillsboro,
Oregon until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10,
1987, for the Reroofing of the City Hall Complex.
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from
City Hall, Hillsboro, Oregon.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids for the construction of a waterline cross­
ing the South Yamhill River will be received by the
City of Sheridan until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Septem­
ber 15, 1987.
Bids shall be addressed to Mr. Bruce Peet, City Ad­
ministrator, 139 N.W. Yamhill Street, Yamhill, Ore­
gon 97378. At 11:00 a.m., bids will be opened and
read aloud in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
Sheridan, Oregon.
The project consists of construction of approxi­
mately 240 lineal feet of Restrained Join 14" Ductile
Iron Pipe across the South Yamhill River.
Plans and specifications are available at the offices
of CURRAN-McLEOD, INC. Consulting Engineers,
7460 S.W. Hunziker Road, Suite D, Portland, Ore
gon 97223, telephone: 684-3478. A thirty dollar ($30)
fee is required with each application, half of which is
refundable upon the prompt return of the plans and
specifications in good condition, a video tape sum­
mary of the project is available for viewing at the
offices of CURRAN-McLEOD, INC.
Plans and specifications may be examined at the fol­
lowing locations: City of Sheridan, City Hall, Sheri­
dan, Oregon; Northwest Plan Center, 901 S.E. Oak,
Portland, Oregon; Builders Exchange Cooperative,
1125 S.E. Madison, Portland, Oregon; Construction
Data Plan Center, 925 N.W. 12th, Portland, Oregon.
Bidders must be prequalified to bid on this project.
Bidders not currently prequalified by the Oregon On
partment of Transportation may apply for prequalifi­
cation no later than ten (10) days prior to the bid
opening on forms available from the Oregon Depart­
ment of Transportation.
To be considered, bids must be completed on the
bidding forms provided, in the manner prescribed in
the bidding documents, submitted intact, and ac­
companied by a 10% bid security in favor of the City
of Sheridan.
Financial assistance for this project is provided by the
State of Oregon and the United States Department
of Housing and Urban Development, by a Commu­
nity Development Block Grant through the State of
Oregon. Attention is directed to the Federal and
State requirements regarding Equal Employment Op­
portunity, Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, HUD Section
3 requirements and ORS 279.
The City of Sheridan reserves the right to reject any
and all bids and to waive all informalities. No bidder
may withdraw or modify his bid prior to the lapse of
thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
