    VICE PRESIDENT
FOR UNIVERSITY LIFE
Applications are invited for the position o f Vice President for
University Life. We are seeking an individual with the demon­
strated ability to develop and implement a comprehensive uni
versity wide plan for a university life program. The primary
responsibility will be the creation, maintenance and continued
assessment of an integrated university and student culture
arid atmosphere. Characteristics of particular importance
include appreciation of the role of student life as part of the
university's academic mission, effective budgetary and man­
agement experience, oral and written communication skills,
experience in comprehensive student program development.
The University of Lowell is a Massachusetts' public university
with 10,000 fu ll-tim e day and 6,000 continuing education
students enrollment and 1,200 faculty and staff. Located in
one of the most dynamic regions of the state and the nation.
We are preparing for a substantial growth in the physical
facilities and resources.
A ll applicants must possess a Doctor's degree and five to
eight years of directly applicable experience at a supervisory
level, demonstrated commitment to Affirm ative Action, Title
IX, 504 regulations. Applicants should submit current vitae,
