land, Oregon for: The Multnomah County Juvenile
Services Commission is seeking qualified applicants
to provide alternative education slots for 7th, 8th and
9th grade students referred by programs participa­
ting in the County-wide Student Retention Plan.
Conditional contracts will be established with all
qualified schools to receive students on a purchase
of service reimbursement basis.
Approximately
$71,000 is available to fund these slots in 1987-88.

CITY OF SILVERTON
ADVERTISEMENT
FOR BIDS
Sealed Proposals for the construction of City of
Silverton sanitary sewer line improvements (East
Silverton Sewer Project No. 428) will be received in
the City Council Chambers, 306 South Water Street,
Silverton, Oregon 97381 until 7:30 (PDT) on August
18, 1987, at which time the sealed Proposals will be
publicly opened and read. Proposals received after
the above specified time shall not be considered.
The work proposed consists of the construction of
5155 feet of 8" and 680 feet of 15" sanitary sewer
line as required by the plans and specifications.
This project is funded by an Oregon C om m unity
D evelopm ent Grant and is subject to the Davis
Bacon Act.
The plans and specifications may be examined in the
office of the City Engineer, City Hall, Silverton, Ore­
gon. Copies of the plans, specifications, and con­
tract documents may be obtained for a non-refund-
able fee of $20.00 per set.
All proposals shall be submitted on the prescribed
form and in said manner as indicated in the Inform­
ation for Bidders and said Proposal shall be accom­
panied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the
amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount
of the proposal.
The City of Silverton reserves the right to accept
the Proposal and award the Contract to the lowest
responsible bidder or to reject any or all Proposals
received and further advertise the project for bids.
