Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Pur­
chasing, Multnomah County Purchasing Section,
2505 S.E. 11th Ave., Portland, OR 97202 for:
Grading, aggregate base, asphalt pavement,
concrete curbs, shoring existing wood framed
building, installing steel posts Et concrete foot­
ings for construction of 15' driveway Et mason-
ary gunite block retaining wall.
Plans and Specifications are filed with the Purcha­
sing Director and copies may be obtained from the
above address for a $5.00 non-refundable fee.
CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS ONLY. Plans and
Specifications will not be mailed within the Tri-
County area.
PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Pursuant to
the Multnomah County Public Contract Review
Board Administrative Rules (AR 40.030) Prequalifi­
cation shall be required for this project for the follow­
ing class(es) of work: Municipal Street Construc­
tion.
Prequalification applications or statements must be
prepared during the period of one year prior to the
bid date. Prequalification application or proof of
prequalification by the Oregon Department of Trans­
portation must be actually received or postmarked to
Multnomah County by not later than 10 days prior to
bid opening.

NO NDISCRIM INATIO N: Bidders on this work will
be required to comply with the provisions of Federal
Executive Order 11246. The requirements for Bid­
ders and Contractors are explained in the Specifica­
tions.
No bid will be received or considered unless the bid
contains a statement by the bidder as part of his bid
that the requirements of 279.350, 279.352, 279.355
and 279.356 shall be met.
No proposal will be considered unless accompanied
by a check payable to Multnomah County, certified
by a responsible bank, or in lieu thereof, a surety
bond for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of
the aggregate proposal. The successful bidder shall
furnish a bond satisfactory to the Board in the full
amount of the contract.
Multnomah County reserves the right to reject any or
all bids.

60 in the Departments of Accounting, Administrative
Office Systems, Economics, Finance and Management
Information Systems, and Management and Marketing.
AACSB accredited at the undergraduate level, the
College is presently seeking accreditation at the graduate
level, and has approximately 2,000 majors.
Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in
one of the disciplines represented in the College. In
addition to a distinguished record of teaching and
research, candidates are expected to have a demon­
strated record of academic administration. The position
is available August 16, 1987, and must be filled by

Responsible for the operation of the physical facility and super­
vising the department on an assigned shift. High school diploma
or equivalent required. Five years technical experience In the
various trades required and one to three years supervisory experi­
ence required. Blue Seal High Pressure license preferred, good
communication skills as well as the ability to direct and manage
people.

COMPUTER PROGRAMMER
Responsible for the development and implementation of tt.e sys­
tem of programming which includes program logic, coding,
testing and debugging for hotel related departments such as
Hotel Food & Beverage Purchasing etc. 8.S./B.A. degree In
Mathematics, Computer Science or Accounting preferable but
not required. Should be knowledgeable in the programming of
RPG III and/or COBOL and/or BASIC Plus. Experience on the
system/38 and/or POP III Series. Should have a good systems
background and communication skills.
MECHANIC: " A " f B ”
Responsible for the general minor mechanical repairs, mainte­
nance and service of the hotel facilities, and appurtenances.
Mechanic " A " : At least five years mechanical and service experi­
ence necessary In large commercial plant of building. Mechanic
"B” : At least three years mechanical and service experience
necessary In large commercial plant or building. Please be advised
