should stop any collection efforts
and, if enough people do this, the
company may cease the fraudulent
practice of sending unordered
merchandise and then billing. This
scam continues because so many
people send in money.

Dear Stanley: I doubt if you can get
assitance from the present Polish
government. However, U.S. law
provides that “Any person who
served in WWI or WW2 as a
member of the any armed force of
the Government of Poland or
Czechoslovakia and participated
while so serving in armed conflict
with an enemy of the U.S. and has
been a citizen of the U.S. for at
least 10 years shall__ be entitled to
hospital and domiciliary care..-to
the same extent as if such service
had been performed in the Armed
Forces of the United States.’ You
may find, Stanley, that it is easier
for vou to establish your rights than
if vou served in the U.S. armed
forces since the VA can't ask you to
produce as many documents
because of the difficulty of getting
proofs from the present Polish
government. Incidentally, there are

of the armed forces of our WW2
allies who claim service in combat
against our former enemies. We are
