REQUEST FOR
APPLICATIONS
Tillamook County is requesting applications for a
solid waste disposal franchise The Franchiser is to
own and operate a facility, such as a composter
or burner, which will substantially reduce the volume
of solid waste going to the existing landfill.
The Franchise Applicants shall submit their applica­
tions on the Application Forms furnished by Tilla­
mook County.
Application Forms and specification for application
may be obtained from the Tillamook County Public
Works Department, 503 Marolf Loop Road, Tills
mook, OR 97141 (Tele 842 3419)
Completed application forms shall be submitted to:

The Applications shall be submitted by no later than
May 31, 1987 Applications received after this time
may not be considered
Upon receipt of the Applications, Tillamook County
will review the applications and award the franchise
in accordance with Tillamook County Ordinance
No 4, Article IV, "FRANCHISING OF SOLID
W ASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL "
Tillamook County may choose to not award a solid
waste disposal franchise, upon a finding that it is not
in the public interest to do so
