ested person, a public hearing will be held by the
Tri County Metropolitan Transportation District of
Oregon (Tri Met) at 3:30 PM Wednesday, February
25. 1987, at the Portland Building, 1120 SW 5th Ave
nue. Second Floor, Meeting Room C, for the pur
pose of considering a protect for which federal assi
stance under Section 9 of the Urban Mass Trans
ponation Act of 1964, as amended, is being sought

The proposed application requests $139,200 (100%
Federal funding) for two protects. The first project
would examine cost efficiencies of providing late
night (owl runs) service for one year by a private
provider under contract with Tri Met (Budget:
$87,600)
The second protect would examine cost

Westover area by a private provider under contract
