Hall Shriners A E A O N M S . honored L C Ellison and C lifford C Jack
son for their many years of extraordinary perform ance and support to
Prince Hall M asonry and Shnnedom at a testim onial banquet Saturday,
November ,5 at the Flamingo M otel in Portland, Oregon
Mr Ellison was initiated into Masonry in 1943 in Portland and became a
Shrmer in 1959 in Seattle, a total o f 43 years in Masonry
He is a Past
Potentate of Mina Temple and is the present Treasurer
Mr Jackson was initiated into Masonry in 1920 in Kansas City, Kansas
and became a Shriner in 1959 in Seattle, a total of 66 years in Masonry
He is a Past Potentate o f Mina Temple
Mr Cleve W illiams, the new Superintendent of Portland Parks and Re
creation, was the speaker for the evening
The III Potentate of Mina Temple No 68, W illiam Haygood, presented
both honorees w ith plaques com m em orating their outstanding dedication
and service to Mina Temple
