NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY
FOR PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that upon request by any
interested person a public hearing will be held by the
Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of
Oregon (Tri Met) at 3:30 P.M., Wednesday,
November 26, 1986 at the Portland Building, 1120
SW 5th Avenue, Second Floor, Meeting Room "C ",
tor the purpose of considering a project for which
federal assistance under Section 9 of the Urban
Mass Transportation Act o, 1964 as amended, is
being sought Anyone interested in requesting that
this hearing be convened should contact Cynthia
Weston. Public Services Division, by phone at 238-
4920 or in writing, 4012 SE 17th Avenue. Portland,
Oregon 97202 by Friday. November 14 1986

UMTA Project No OR-90-0007
No persons, families or businesses will be dis­
placed by this project
The project is in conformance with comprehensive
land use and transportation planning in the area and
will be programmed in the Transportation Improve­
ment Priygram A statement of Tri-Met s charter bus
service is available for inspection a, the Tri Met s
Administrative Offices Tri Met will not be engaging in
school bus operations Private transportation enter­
prise will no, be directly affected by the project
The project is currently under review by the state
and district clearinghouses
At the hearing, Tri-Met will afford an opportunity for
interested persons or agencies to be heard with re­
spect to the social, economic and environmental as
pects of the projects
A copy of the grant amendment application for the
proposed project and a transit development plan for
the area currently available for public inspection at
Tn Met, Public Services Division, 4012 SE 17th Av­
