Board of Higher Education in Administrative Services
Building, Room B100, Oregon State University, Cor
vallis, Oregon until 2:30 P M POT, Thursday, Sep
tember 4, 1986, for Computer Science Building
Alterations located at Oregon State University, Cor­
vallis Oregon. Bids will be opened and publicly read
aloud in the Administrative Services Building. Room
A622D by the Undersigned or a designated repre
sentative.
The protect includes demolition, concrete, carpentry,
doors, cabinets, ceilings, painting and associated
mechanical and electrical work.
Bids will be received on a lump sum basis for all of
the work One set of contract documents may be
obtained from the office of Jeppsen, Miller and
Tobias. Architects, 245 NE Conifer Blvd.. Corvallis.
Oregon 97330 (754 7541) by primer bidders only
upon deposit of $25 Additional sets may be obtain­
ed for the cost of reproduction. Subcontractors and
others may purchase a set of plans and specifications
for $15.
Contract documents may be examined at the Archi­
tect's office; O S U. Physical Plant Office; Builders

Deposits will be refunded for contract documents
returned in good condition by actual bidders within
two weeks after opening of bids, but to nonbidders
only if returned no later than the day of the bid open
ing. Plan purchasers must return documents within
one week after bid opening
Pre-qualification of bidders is not required

A portion of this project is financed through the
Community Development Block Grant Program with
funds obtained from the U S. Department of Hous
mg and Urban Development The entire contract will
be subject to regulations of the Departments of
Labor and Housing and Urban Development
Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal

H U D. Section 3 requirements and the minimum
salaries and wages as set forth in the contract
documents.
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the
City Manager, First Floor, City Hall, Hillsboro, Ore
gon until: 11:00 a m., August 29, 1986. at which
time bids will be opened and read publicly.
The general nature and approximate quantities of
work are as follows:
Demolition of existing park trails, site layout, con
struct a 2 foot high brick wall, construct concrete
sidewalks, relocate catch basins, miscellaneous im­
provements to an existing playground

PDT. Bidders shall meet with Owner and Architect
at the Computer Science Building, Room 103, prior
to required examination.
All bidders must comply with the requirements of the
prevailing wage law in ORS 279 350
No bid will be considered unless fully completed in
the manner provided in the "Instruction to Bidders"
upon the Bid Form provided and accompanied by
Bid Security.
