perform desk reviews and field
audits on Medicare cost reports
submitted by health care pro
viders Audits are performed at
the provider's site, requiring 1-2
weeks per month travel with
audit team.
Qualified applicants must have a
college degree with a major in
accounting,
including
audit
course credits. Previous work in
acountmg or health care ser
vices is desirable, but not re
quired.
