Notice is hereby given that seeled bids will be
received until 10:50 a m ., Wednesday, July 23, 1300,
by the Town Council of the Town of LaCenter at
the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 3rd Floor,
Franklin Center. 1013 Franklin Street, Vancouver.
Washington, for the reconstruction of East 5th
Street and County Road No. 41, within the Town
of LaCenter, Urban Arterial Protect No 8 5 949(02),
Clark County Work Order No 20059 by grading,
draining, surfacing, constructing concrete curb and
sidewalk, and other work, then publicly opened and
read aloud at Conference Room 1 A, 1st Floor,
Franklin Center. 1013 Franklin Street, Vancouver,
Washington, at 11:00 a m ., Wednesday. July 23.
1986, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard.

The Town of LaCenter shall proceed to award the
contract to the lowest and best bidder, but may
reject any or all bids if, in its opinion, good cause
exists, therefore, to waive informalities in the bid
ding, and to accept the bid from the lowest, respon
sible bidder.
Plans, Specifications, and bid proposal forms may be
obtained from the Office of the Purchasing Agent,
3rd Floor, Franklin Center. 1013 Franklin Street.
Vancouver, Washington, upon a deposit of $35 00
(exact amount only). Said deposit to be returned
to the plan holder upon return of the plans and
specifications.
If the plans and specifications are not returned within
ten (101 days following the bid openings, the deposit
will be forfeited by the plan holder and will be
deposited to the Clark County Road Fund

ENGINEERING SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that the Town of La Center
will require professional engineering services con
cerning a development project funded by the Com
munity Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The scope of the services shall include:

Bidding assistance, construction manage
ment, and construction inspection services
for sanitary sewer rehabilitation project.
Total project budget of $164.000 is a grant
from CDBG.

Additional necessary work involved in the
project, including but not limited to super
vision for compliance with specifications,
recommendations on disbursement of CDBG
FUNDS, ETC
Firms engaged in the lawful practice of their profes
sion are encouraged to submit a statement of qual
locations and performance data
Firms should be
experienced in the design and construction of con
tracts relating to sanitary sewer rehabilitation
