"one ot the happiest days of the year,''
said principal Pam Shelly It's the day
when kids get to show their dads what
they do at scoot all das, and to show

About 140 dads responded this year,
"which is really unusual." said Jell,
who organized the event "I think the
pictures were a big d ra w ." he said

The event w ill feature candidates in
informal settings, able to talk one-on-
one with citizens, as well as offer the
opportunity for all candidates to be in-

abdience.

really proud that my children are attend
ing here." he said "A n d don't forget

taken. Jell and Shelly snuck bites from

Woodlawn's bad s bay was " a real
demonstraton o f support for the kids
from their fathers." Shelly said "T h

dren's live s."
As she talked. 2nd grader Anthony
Branch. Jr climbed onto his father's
lap for a picture "U sually we re
problem-solving when he's sitting in
my ch a ir." Shelly said

talent show featuring folk dancing,
