The Portland Development Commission will receive sealed bids for
Fis A Block Rehabilitation Program until 2 00 p m Pacific Standard
Time on the 20th of February 1986 at 1120 S W 5th Avenue. Por
land Oregon 97204 1968 Room 1102. at which time and place all bids
will be publicly opened and read aloud
Contract documents including drawings and specifications are on file
at the office of the Portland Development Commission at 1120 S W
5th Avenue Portland. Oregon
A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Portland
Development Commission, or a satisfactory bid bond esecuted by the
bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent
( 10% ! of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid
Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that
employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated
against becuase of their race, color, religion, ses. or national ong.n
and that tha contractor must comply with federal regulations as set
forth in the contract documents
This project requires that bidders solicit minority and female business
participation on the project The goals are 10% minority business and
2% female business enterprise participation
The Portland Development Commission reserves the right to reject
any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding
Bids may be held by the Portland Development Commission for a
period not to ewceed ninety (90! calendar days from tha data of the
opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the
qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding tha contract
