I he old policy provided that people
who quit their jobs w ithout good
cause were ineligible lot lood stamp
benefits lor ‘Hidavs, beginning with
the dale ihes applied lor food stamps
I NS has now agreed to change its
policy so that the p eriod ot
ineligibility begins on the dale id the
jo b quit, not the dale ol application
