The Portland North Social Security
office at 2310 N orth l ombard w ill
close on Thursday. September 26.
1985, according to B ill J. Lewis,
D istrict Manager o f the Portland
Downtown Social Security office. The
Portland North office is being con­
solidated w ith two other Portland
areas offices: the 1 loyd Center office
located at 1727 N.L 12th Avenue,
and the D owntown o ffice at 1221
SAS 12th Avenue.
The I loyd Center and Portland
Downtown Social Security offices will
continue to provide the same services
to the people o f Columbia County
and North Portland that the Portland
