sentatives o f area merchants, social
service and alcoholism treatment pro­
viders, residents, and governm ent
agencies, has accepted a fo u r-p a rt

42 problems, fro m varying perspec­

downtown areas, lack ol dollars, ol

formation and referral line o f the Ore­
gon C ouncil on A lcoholism Duties
include answering phones, scheduling
volunteer shifts and youth outreach.
This volunteer work requires 4H hours
a month and a three m onth com m it­
ment is requested
Volunteers for the King Neighbor-
hvxxl Facility in NF Portland assist in
supervising and tra in in g men and
women who arc m e n ta lly retarded.
This volunteer work requires 15 hours
a month between 9 a m. and 2 p in.,
weekdays.
