Portland a hottest vocal group, along with the Cleancut Band, will be appearing at the 8th Ave Club (N W 6th & Burnside, tor marly Old Town Saloon) on Wednesday, July 31st. Cleancut consists of four lead vocalists Mary Turner, Richard Greer. Ronee Walker and Joe (Bean) Keller They, along with a six piece rhythm section, will be presenting a repertoire of music ranging from the early 70a on through tha top 40 hits of the 80s. plus a few a cappella numbers In the past. Cleancut has appeared at the Last Hurrah with the Calvin Walker Band and just recently concluded a smashing sue cess at Summer Funk '86 held at Starry Night. Cleancut a style has been compared with that of the Temptations, the Four Tops and the Whispers with the only difference being Clean All Male Revue cut s two male and two female vocalists. Cleancut will be presenting two shows - 10:00 p m and 12 00 mid night. Cleancut will also be shooting the first phase of their video be ginning at 10 00 p.m. under the direction of Larry Dunham.
