Theatre Company, will expariance many kind moments this summer
as he launches a theatrical company that catar* exclusively to handi
capped and underprivileged children
"It’s my way of raturning something back to those who helped
me. said Gibson, who spent 16 year* in and out of Shriner* Hospital
because he was born with a club foot.
Compassion is tha script for Uncle Gipps Theatre Company a*
characters come alive in the audience a* well as on stage
Children will be given an opportunity to gat to know each character
by personally laughing and talking with them Also, each child will be
given an opportunity to develop a pen pal relationship with their favor
ite character." Gibson said
Gibson will adapt six children a stories that he penned onto the
stage
The Legend of Swamp Rock Soup" — a polecat discover* a myster
iou* soup recipe while floating through the Florida Everglades Dedi

Niki and The Abandoned Lighthouse" — A small girl wanders into
an abandoned lighthouse to escape a thunderstorm and decide* that
the safest place for her to hide is within the comfort of her colorful

groomer stops to nap at the entrance of a forbidden forest, where the
only inhabitants are flea bitten dogs, and dog biting fleas 7 Give up?

are unable to get around." Gibson added
During the fourth Saturday of the month at Shriner* Hospital,
Uncle Gipps will perform Also, at the Kiwanis Club Summer Camp,
beginnning June 16. his talent will grace the stage once a week for
four week*
