High School Gospel Singers, and
Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Gos­
pel Choir, as well as other singers and
musicians The college extends its in­
vitation to the whole community to
come and enjoy this event.

hood Church of God will tell “ how
die college has affected my congre­
gation.“ and Rev. Luther Banks will
explain “ what an experienced min
islet gains by attending N P B C .” ¿Oth­
er testimonies will be interspersed
between musical selections.
North Portland Bible College is a
community-based college, still in its
infancy, with borrowed facilities and
part-lime staff Several local pastors
and lay persons serve on its board.
It is housed in Maranatha Church,
ATT? N .E . 12th Ave. The college
makes its growing library available to
adults in (he community who may
wish to use its special Bible study ma­
terials, ix who may need to have a
quiet place to study.
