Scope
Bids for this protect are invited from m inority group contracto rs who
have been prequalified, however, all prequalified firms may compete
Bids shall be subm itted on unit price basis on the form s provided m
accordance with the provisions of the specifications, no bids containing
unrealistic bid prices will be accepted Bids are to be filed m accordance
w ith the charter and ordinances of the City of Spokane, and shall be
addressed to the City Clerk
Providing and installing new illuminated canopy signage above ticket
counter m termtr el building
A prebid conference will tie held at 1 30 p m on Monday February 4
1985 in Conference Room 3006 in the Terminal Building at Portland
International Airport to discuss all phases of the work
A certified check or surety bond in the sum of 5% of the Total Amount of
Bid must accompany the copy of the bid filed with the City Cerk
Bids must be on the bid form which will be provided to prospective bid
ders and must be accompanied by a c edified or cashier s check d»awn on
a United States bank or a bid bond payatde to The Port of Portland in an
amount equal to at least 10 percent of the total amount b*d
No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time set for the opening there
of, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period of sixty (80) days
H ow ever, the C ity Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids
submitted
Bidders are required to prequalify Prequahfication statements must be
received at least 5 days prior to the time set for bet opening Applications
tor preqoaiificatiori may tie submitted less than 5 days before bid opening
but consideration by Pod cannot be assured

after the date of award
