Each bid must tie subm ined on the prescribed form, which will be sup
plied by the Architect to qualified bidders A sample of the bid form is
included in the bidding docum ents for inform ation only Bids must be
accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Asaocia
lion for R etarded Citizens, in an am ount not less than ten percent of
the am ount bid Each bid must contain an executed Bid Form and Bid
Bond, plus a certification of nonsegregeted facilities
Only qualified general contracto rs will be allo w ed to bid To becom e
qualified, a firm must subm it to the A rchitect a com plete qualification

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Perform ance and
Payment Bond for faithful (lerformence of the Contract m the full amount
of the contract price The succeeaful tedder must also provide a s< hedule
of values list ot subcontractors insurance certificates and construction
schedules
Bidders are advised of th e fact that public funds will be used for this
w ork, and therefore no bid will be either received or considered by the
Association for Relented Citizens unless the bid contains a statement by
the bidder as a part of his bid that Federal regulations regarding prevailing
wages are to be complied with
The contract will be aw arded to the low est qualified responsible bid
der The Association reserves the right to waive any formalities or reiect
any or all proposals The Association also reserves the right to postpone
award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty days from date of
brd opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids
