istered Nurse, currently licensed in Ore
gon, to develop, implement, and estab
lish our new occupational health pro
gram in accordance with the philosophy
of health and self care education and
health promotion
The proposed outline of this program in
eludes but is not limited to the following
functions:
• Administer to the employee popula
tion nursing care, follow up and re
ferral
• Establish policies and procedures of
the OHN function
• Develop systems of recordkeeping,
evaluation, and reporting
• Develop and provide educational
programs and services promoting
self care and health awareness
To qualify, candidates must have 2 years
experience in occupational health nurs
ing, 1 to 2 years emergency nursing ex
perience, and a full range of emergency
and employee health skills. This person
must also be proficient at public speak
ing and presentations, and have excel
lent inter personal communication skills.
Knowledge of OSHA and workers' com
pensation laws is also required
