S.Africa continues to evict Black farmers

removed from the communities and

lie within the 87% o f South A frica
set aside exclusively for whites, who
make up less than 20% of the coun­
try's population.“
Contrary to deeds signed by Black
landholders over 70 years ago, the
government, sinde 1948, has taken
title to the land, evicted the residents
and then sold it to whites.
