PREBID CONFERENCE A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on
Tuesday, May 8, 1984, at 9:00 A M at 9th Floor. J.K Gill Bldg . 426 S.W ,
Stark St.. Portland, OR Attendance at the April 2nd or April 8th conference
will meet this requirement
PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS:Pursuant to the Multnomah County
Public Contract Review Board Administrative Rules (AR 40 0301
Prequalification shall be required for this project.
Prequalification applications or statements must be prepared during the
period of one year prior to the bid date and must be actually received or
postmarked to Multnomah County by not later than 10 days prior to bid
opening.

This project is financed through the Community Development Block Grant
with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban

The general nature and approximate quantities of work are as follows: S.E.
3rd — Construct 480 Im ft of 32' wide street including grading, paving, curbs
and sidewalks; 500 lin ft. of 8"-10"-12" CCP storm sewer and all inciden
tals.
S.E. 5th — Construct 700 lin. ft. of 32' wide street including grading, paving,
curbs and sidewalks. 300 lin. ft. of 10" & 12" CCP Full depth rock, storm
sewer and all incidentals 520 lin. ft 8" DI Class 52 waterline, 225 lin. ft 6"
DI Class 52 waterline, install new copper services b all appurtenances.
Contract documents may be obtained from the Office of the City Engineer.

MINORITY AND FEMALE BUSINESS UTILIZATION: All bidders are
hereby specifically advised that these conditions require a minimum of 5%

or more of the following subcontract areas: Bidder's Option and 2% of the
total bid amount for Female Business Enterprise participation in one or
more of the following subcontract areas: Bidder's Option.
