Tracey Durbin and Laurenc Reiner combine their talents for a concert of
punk, funk and jazz dance Energetic dancing, a wide range of music, and
sharp choreography all come together for a memorable concert called ** Jazz
Attitude.”
The concert includes 12 dancers in six separate pieces, highlighting the
rhythm, style and soul of jazz dance.
This concert will be presented Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4.

Learn the breaking moves from the movie Flash Dance and the locking
and popping movements from the Michael Jackson video Heal II. You will
also learn the moonwalk, backslide, and wave at Peninsula Park Com
munity Center. 6400 N. Albina, starting Friday. February 3. 1984. Classes
are from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Fridays and run for 7 weeks through March 16.
Boys and girls age 10-18 are welcome. Fee is $12.00 for 7 lessons and regis
tration begins Monday, January 23 at Peninsula Park. Instructor: Chris

Camp Fire is a co-ed youth organization founded in 1910. Until 1976. it
was known as the Camp Fire Girls. Its philosophy is to teach children skills
by doing. The emphasis on small groups provide our youth with individual
attention and personal growth. Camp Fire programs are based on accepted
principles and techniques from the fields of informal education, recreation,

Why do Camp Fire kids sell candy? Their annual candy sale is the most
important effort to raise money for the organization. The funds raised from
the sale make it possible for Camp Fire to recruit, train and support volun
teer club leaders, to maintain summer camp properties and to make it possi
ble for girls and boys to grow and fully enjoy their childhood
Camp Fire is asking the community at large to support this el tort and
look for 7,000 smiling faces in the Portland area. “ It is possible to eat candy
