day, November 5, from 11 a m. to 3
p.m. This series will highlight pro
grams produced earlier this year,
which look at a variety o f concerns
affecting Black youth today.

Life Foundations.

land. Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln,
Madision,

Roosevelt,
Lincoln, and on Nov. 2nd and 10th
at Grant. Benson parents are inviled
to atiend Cleveland's town meeting
or the one that is closest and most
convenient.
One o f the most important out
reach efforts in the history of public
television will soon take place. In
communities throughout Oregon
and across the nation, citizens will
join together to view The Chemical
People, a two-part special designed
to help combat school-age drug and
alcohol abuse.
Scheduled for broadcast Nosem
ber 2 and 9 at 8:00 p.m on Oregon
Public Broadcasting stations. The
Chemical People is designed to spur
communities to establish permaneni
task forces to attack substance
abuse in their area.
