The M ount Olivet Baptist Church
will hold its Annual Revival Services
Sunday, September 23, 1983 through
Friday, September 30, 1983. Devo
tional Service will be held from 7:00
p.m. to 7 :3 0 p .m .
Several community churches and
choirs will be participating in the
Revival: St. M ark Baptist Church,
Maranatha Church o f G od, M t.
Sinai, Vancouver Ave. First Baptist
Church, and Philadelphia Com m u
nity Missionary Baptist Church.
The Evangelist will be Rev. J.A .
Boles o f St. John Baptist Church
located in Tacoma, Washington.
Pastor Boles is a graduate o f the
Tacoma Comm unity College with
an Associate o f Arts Degree and a
graduate o f the Pacific Lutheran
University with a BA Degree and he
has his Masters o f Ministerial Arts
Degree from ABSW Pastor Boles
has served as Moderator for the
Progressive Association for twenty
years and President o f the Regionals
State Congress for the past ten
years. He is the Executive o f the
Tacoma Ministerial Alliance and is
President o f the National Baptist
Convention o f America.

September 26-30. The Devotional
Service will begin each night at 7:13
and the Worship Service at 7:30.
The Rev. Roscoe McKinney from
BeeBee Memorial C .M .E . Church
in Oakland, California will be the
guest minister. Rev. McKinney is a
renowned preacher and teacher.
Many o f the local churches will be
present nightly as guest churches to
provide music along with the Allen
Temple’s Temple Choir, under the
direction o f Louise Jones, Minister
o f Music.
A 12-hour prayer vigil will be held
September 24 from 6 p.m . to 6 a.m .
culminating with a breakfast feast.

The general nature and approximate quantities of work ere as follows:
Construct 30 wheelchair ramps.

to devote full time to the ministry.
