The total grant application is for »106,664 of which »124,996 is the Federal share and »41,866 is the local share. The project is an intensive technical assistance program for Tri-Met's current or prospective Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). Tri-Met intends to issue a formal Request for Proposal for the provision of technical assistance services designed to overcome problems incurred by MBE's including financing, bonding and insurance, marketing, cost estimating, accounting, general management, evaluation of bids or proposals and limited patronage by prime contractors.
