postmarked to Multnomah County by not later than 10 days prior to bid
opening.

MINORITY AND FEMALE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE UTILIZATION
All Bidders are hereby advised that these conditions require a minimum of
Fifteen percent (15%) of the total bid amount for Minority Business Enter­
prise (MBE) and Five percent (5% ) of the total bid amount for Female
Business Enterprise (FBE) participation in subcontracts.
NON-DISCRIMINATION
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the provisions of
Federal Executive Order 11246. The requirements for Bidders and Con­

Center Air Conditioning Modification project located on the campus of
Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon Bids will be opened and
publicly reed aloud in the Administrative Services Building "A ", Room
A 110 by the Undersigned or his designated representative.
The project consists of furnishing ell labor, material, equipment, superin
tendance and doing all work to do certain demolition, sheetmetal ductwork,
relocating certain equipment, installing a heat recovery refrigeration chiller,
packaged air handler unit, miscellaneous items and all associated
controls, piping, mechanical and electrical work all in strict accordance with
the drawings and specifications.

5. ADDITIONAL COPIES OF DOCUMENTS. Should a bona fids Prime
Bidder or other interested party, wish additional sets or copies of partial sets
he may obtain them from the Architect at the cost of reproduction. Addenda
and other such communications will be sent only to holders of registered
numbered sets and holders of partial or unregistered sets will be entirely
responsible for informing themselves of addenda or other notifications.
6. RETURN OF DOCUMENTS. All documents must be returned in good
condition to the Office of the Architects within 14 days after the date set for
the opening of bids; deposits on documents by Prime Bidders will be
refunded at that time. No refund will be made for partial sets printed for the
user, but they remain the property of the Architect and must be returned
