the Instructions to Bidders upon the Form of Proposal provided by the
Engineer and is accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond
issued by a surety company acceptable to the Owner or a Certified Check or
Cashiers Check in an amount equal to ten (10% ) percent of the Base Bid,
made payable to the Owner. The Bid Security will be forfeited as fixed and
liquidated damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a
Contract and provide suitable bonds for the faithful performance of the
W ork in the event the Contract is swarded him.
All Bidders shall comply with tha applicable provisions of ORS 279.039 and
ORS 279.041 of the Oregon Revised Statutes relating to the qualification of

No persons, families or businesses will ba displaced by this project. An
environmental assessment with a Finding of no Significant Impact has been
prepared for the Park and Ride Lot project at 122nd and Burnside None of
the other projects have any significant environmental impacts.
The projects are in conformance with comprehensive land use and trans
portation planning in the area and will be programmed in the Transportation
Improvement Program.
One of the proposed projects, the purchase of 8 Minibuses, especially
addresses the special needs of the elderly and handicapped for P.M peak
service on the Transit Mall.
