Parkers Return Home
C a rl and Audre Parker o f Portland recently returned home from a
concert to u r, p ro m o tin g their album ‘ ‘ Let Love C om e N e a r.” They
covered a distance o f some 3,000 miles singing in the C alifornia cities o f
Fresno, San Diego, A ltad en a, Pittsburg. V a lle jo , Richm ond and also
Phoenix, Arizona.
Some o f the funds raised during the tour will be donated to People to
People Ministries a non -profit organization o f which C arl is President.
The organization has planned summer activities for inner city youth o f
Portland.
People to People is in the process o f developing a C om m unity Center
which w ill o ffe r a variety o f classes, counseling and health services to
enhance better living.
This week the Parkers appeared on the G ary Randall show on Channel
6.
The Parkers' album is available at the follo w in g outlets: Adventist
Book Center, Clackamas; Christian Supply Centers; Dove Music Stores;
House o f Sound Music; and Sound Alternative in Vancouver, Washington.
